For STUDENTS: Committed to Charleston (C2C) Spirit Week
Student Alumni Associates will be at events all week collecting early donations for CofC Day. Students donating $5 or more (or pre-registering for “The Big Birthday Bash” on Thursday) will be inducted into the Committed to Charleston Society (C2C) following CofC Day and will receive a commemorative pin, a headshot session in Cistern Yard, and other benefits and recognition. Admissions will leverage the week’s activities by hosting a message board nearby for current students to congratulate accepted students. Marketing will capture video clips of the festivities to share the fun with accepted students.

Cistern YardStudents may pre-register for $17 and alumni, parents, faculty, staff and families may register for $17-$25. All tickets include a limited-edition CofC Day T-shirt, a $10 food truck voucher, a ticket for a spin on the Prize Wheel, and a donation for CofC Day! VIP tickets ($25) also include beer and wine in Towell Library.
Space permitting, students (ticketed or not) are welcome to attend to enjoy free maroon velvet cupcakes, Cougar Punch, ping pong with President Hsu, and performances by Chucktown Sound, the cheerleaders, and the Cougarettes. The food trucks will also accept meal swipes and cash purchases, as well as the vouchers. Students who attend (ticketed or not) will receive one entry for four door prize drawings: three $500 scholarships and an official CofC Ring. You have to be present to win.
Crazy Hat Contest: Wish the College a happy 253rd birthday by wearing a maroon and white hat and entering our “Crazy Cougar CofC Day Hat Contest” at the Big Birthday Bash! Raid local thrift and craft stores to create a fedora that expresses your deep love for the College. Prizes will be awarded for several categories!
